SCUDD Exec elections

19 February, 2018 | by Gareth White

Nominations are open for three posts on the SCUDD Executive Committee: for the chair and for two ‘ordinary members’.

The process is as follows:

  • If you are interested in standing for any of these positions, please request the representatives from two SCUDD departments to nominate you by emailing Gareth White (SCUDD Secretary) g.white@cssd.ac.uk by Thursday March 1st.
  • If there is more than one person nominated in each category, on Monday March 5th I will email all nominees requesting a statement from each, making a case for their suitability. The deadline to submit these statements to me will be Friday 16th March. These statements will be posted on the SCUDD website and to the mail list.
  • The SCUDD membership can then vote for their preferred candidates through the SCUDD website, voting must be completed by Friday March 30th .
  • The successful candidates will be announced on Monday April 2nd.

If you’d like to find out more about the positions or have any questions about the process, please email g.white@cssd.ac.uk.
